Hundreds sit new citizenship test
More than 400 people will sit the new citizenship test today at Department of immigration attorney and Citizenship offices.
The test assesses applicants’ knowledge of Australian democracy and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.

Baillieu weighs in on Vanstone visa case

Andrews call for debate on slashing immigration attorney

New Changes to the Form G-28 and how it impacts US Immigration from Thailand. At the time of this writing the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service is in the process of promulgating a new G-28 form. This form is used to indicate the presence of a licensed attorney or representative in a case pending before USCIS or another branch of the Department of Homeland Security.

I first met Vahan Mirakian at his beautiful Pacific Ocean villa outside Tijuana, Mexico in a small town called “San Antonio”. He was sitting on the balcony eating Armenian jerky, a delightful treat I had yet to try but now eat often, and had a sad look on his face. I had been introduced to him by a mutual friend, his immigration attorney.

I met Vahan Mirakian through a mutual friend, his attorney, almost two years ago for the first time in a small tourist town, a paradise of sorts on the Pacific near Tijuana called “San Antonio”. The town was gorgeous as was the ocean view from Vahan’s Villa patio. Vahan’s face looked old and tired, as if he had given up. I would find out later, he virtually had.
